Kelly Brook was born Kelly Anne Parsons on the 23rd of November 1979 at All Saints Hospital, Chatham, Kent, England. Hailing from Rochester in the same county, but currently sharing a house in Sydenham, London with actor fiance Jason Statham, Kelly had always wanted to be a TV presenter.

Kelly, a former pupil of Thomas Avering School in Rochester, was forced to drop out of the prestigious Italia Conte arts college due to lack of funds (after being refused a grant because her father (scaffolder) and mother (cook) were unable to pay her fees), but because of a beauty contest win, which her mother had entered her for, she ended up working as a model, initially for a local flooring company. She supplemented this income with work as a waitress.

Kellys' figure was then quickly noticed and she became an underwear model for firms including Playtex. The UK tabloids were also not slow to catch on to her alluring looks and she became a favourite, particularly with the Daily Star. Male interest magazines, such as FHM and Maxim, then became interested in Kellys' obvious qualities.

TV was her next step, appearing as 'Nicky with the Ticky' in the Sure ads with Johnathan Ross, as well as an ad for Lee jeans and an appearance in the video for 'Help the Aged' by Pulp. Her ambition to become a TV presenter was realised on the 1st February 1999 when she appeared next to Johnny Vaughn as co-presenter of 'The Big Breakfast' on Channel 4.

The critics were quick to pounce however, and Kelly resigned before she was disgracefully dumped by the ailing show, her replacement (Lisa Tarbuck), did not improve the shows ratings. Her first appearance after quitting the show was to be the star of the biggest billboard ad in the UK (some 50ft high!) for Triumph Internationals' range of Bras.

Kelly was then snapped up by MTV UK as a presenter on MTV 'Select', she also did a show for MTV Asia. She is currently in the US filming a TV show for Warner Brothers.

Kelly has been in the States filming a show, which has been picked up by Warner Brothers for an initial seasons run, called "The Mis-Adventures of Fiona Plum". In the show she plays a spoilt witch from the UK banished to the US to work as a nanny. She also recently appeared on UK TV show 'The Priory' and has been in a TV ad for 'KitKat'.
