Josie Maran was born in just outside San Fransisco in Manelo Park. She graduated from her all-girls private school in 1996 and now resides in Manhattan.

Josie was approached a few years ago to appear in a fashion show by a talent agent and that's where her modelling career began. She is best known nowadays for her appearances in the Summer 1998 & 1999 Guess? ad campaigns (see Guess? bio here). Despite being a total hottie and appearing on the covers of many magazines (like Maxim, Shape, Seventeen, Stuff, Fitness, & Glamour) Josie didn't have tremendous success as a model - after all, she's only 5'7". For this reason, she got herself into acting and she's well on her way to being a star.

Josie has been in the public eye as of late with her role as Marishka - one of Dracula's wives - in the film Van Helsing. Two of her upcoming films are Little Black Book and The Aviator. Check out here profile at the IMDB.
