Supermodel Adriana Sklenarikova was born in 1971 in the Republic of Slovakia. At a young age, she aspired to be a doctor, but with her stunning good looks and tall thin body she had "supermodel material" written all over her. She caught the eyes of the big modeling agencies and is now represented by Next Modeling Agency in New York and Elite Modeling in Milan.
Adriana became very well known when she was chosen as the new Wonder Bra girl. The campaign gave her enormous exposure and she caught the attention of many other advertisers. Adriana later became one of the elite few to grace the pages of Victoria's Secret catalogues. This gave Adriana the boost she needed to become one of the world's most sought after supermodels.
Nowadays, Adriana can be seen in the most prestigious modeling events known across the world, including an extremely coveted recurring appearance in Sport's Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition. Adriana also fends off numerous offers to appear in film/TV, saying that "A model shouldn't diversify too much from his/her goals."
Adriana is now happily living in Madrid, with her soccer player husband Christian Karembeu. The marriage was a major event in Spain in December of 1998, since Adriana is one of the best known models in Europe, and her husband is the star of one of the country's leading soccer teams.
